EKU Colonels stop in Huntsville

The Eastern Kentucky University Baseball Team had dinner on Thursday night in Huntsville, Kentucky, at the home of Jerry and Mary Fleming.

The Colonels were on their way to Austin Peay for a weekend series. Caleb Johnson, a pitcher for EKU, is the son of Todd and Julie (Fleming) Johnson, and the grandson of Mary and Jerry Fleming and Diddle and Sandy Johnson. Aunts Becki Flener and Diane Lawrence assisted with the meal.

The team was extremely appreciative, willingly posed for pictures, and loaded the bus with a sack of goodies for the rest of the trip.
Caleb’s family enjoyed sharing a little Butler County hospitality with the EKU Colonels.
