Community rallying to help Tyrees

Josh and Chelsey Tyree

Josh Tyree, a BCHS graduate, has been dealing with serious health issues over the past several months.  He is currently in medical school, as well as he and his wife, Chelsey, are expecting a son in the next few weeks.  Josh continues to battle a serious building of pressure on his brain, and has had several surgeries and  made repeat trips to Duke University Hospital where many doctors are involved in researching his case to find answers.  In addition, Josh's parents are Ronnie and Linda Tyree, employees in the Butler County School District, and they have been with Josh and Chelsey during a majority of the time of his sickness.

Many friends and colleagues have expressed the desire to help Josh and Chelsey, so if you would like to give a monetary donation to them, we will take up money and deposit into a bank account for them to help them with some of the financial hardships they are encountering.  The following staff will be accepting donations at her school/building:  Vonda Jennings, Board of Education office; Angie Embry, Morgantown Elementary; Amy Smith-Thomas, Butler County Middle School; Cindy Embry, North Butler Elementary; and Stacha Murphy or Lisa Rhoades at Butler County High School.  Checks can be made payable to Josh and Chelsey Tyree.

The family is very grateful for all of the prayers and help from our school system and community.
