Candidate Dillon Bryant: 5th District Magistrate

My name is Dillon Bryant, and I am a candidate for 5th District magistrate.  I live in the Oak Ridge community where I have resided my whole life.  I farm full-time in the communities of Oak Ridge, Casey and Welches Creek; raising cattle, sheep, corn and soybeans.  I am a life-long member of Barnett’s Lick Baptist Church, where I have recently been elected and ordained as a deacon.

After graduating from Butler County High School in 2009, I became employed at the Butler County Ambulance Service as a full-time 911 Dispatcher.  I served in that capacity until March 2017. I have been a volunteer firefighter from 2007-2017 for the 5th District Volunteer Fire Department.  I am currently in my second 2-year term as an elected board member for 5th District VFD.   In 2013, I began working part-time for the Butler County Sheriff’s office, and currently, I am still employed there.  If elected as magistrate, I will resign my position there.  I have served and continue to serve on numerous local and federal agriculture-related boards.
I am, like many other citizens of Butler County, ready for a positive change in county government.  Butler County has taken a back seat far too long.  It is time we get our core problems ironed out and moved forward.  I support ALL EMERGENCY SERVICES and the demanding jobs they perform on a daily basis.  I have worked on all sides of emergency services in Butler County.  I have seen firsthand the knowledge and dedication those people have in providing for the citizens of Butler County.  It is time for the tension between the Fiscal Court and Emergency Services to stop.  I’m sure we all agree that we definitely do not need that sort of negative publicity.
I believe Butler County has so much untapped potential. From our strategic location on the William Natcher Parkway between 2 of Kentucky’s bigger cities to the rich heritage of her hard-working citizens, we have so much we can accomplish if we work together.  I promise to work diligently with all county entities and boards.  I believe we should also work hand in hand with the city of Morgantown to make our county attractive for businesses as well as for people looking for a place to build homes and raise their families.
As you go to the polls on May 22nd, I humbly ask for your vote and support.  I will do my very best to work with every entity in Butler County and promise that I will treat them with dignity and respect.
VOTE Dillon Bryant, 5th District Magistrate, #1 on the ballot.
Please do not hesitate to call, text or email me at any time for questions or concerns that you may have.
Thank you,
Dillon Bryant
