Butler County Stockman's Association Forage Contest Winners

Mike Jennings and Mike Martin won the Grass Hay and Grass/Legume Mix hay contest of the Butler County Stockman's Association Forage Contest. Craig Cohron(not Pictured) won the Baleage division. Presenting the award are Melvin Bowles and Ron Glass of the Stockman's Association.

The presentation was made during the annual meeting of the Butler County Stockman’s Association held on Thursday, March 26, at the Butler County Extension Office. There was a meal, an educational program, and a short business meeting. The Stockman’s Association is Butler County’s chapter of the Kentucky Cattleman’s Association. Anyone with livestock in Butler County should be a member of the Stockman’s Association. Membership dues are $5 per year per family.
