Butler County Dispatch moved to the new facility on April 9, 2014; the rest of the ambulance crew moved in early May.  A three-bay garage has been added to the existing building, which served as home to Kellwood Outlet and most recently Pizza Zone. The City of Morgantown leases the building to the Butler County Ambulance Service for $1 per year.

Dispatch
Butler County EMS started in 1974 and was funded in part by the county government.  Due to the rising costs of operation, Butler County EMS became its own taxing district in 2007 and is governed by a non-paid board consisting of Mark Hood, Don Sullivan, Patrick Daugherty, Bill Sweatt, and Debbie Rose Worley.
