Butler County Bassmasters held their final points tournament for the 2017 season on Green River at the Rochester boat ramp in Rochester on Saturday, October 14th. The fishing was exceptionally tough.  The river had experienced several inches of rain earlier in the week, and Barren River Lake began their annual winter drawdown, adding even more water to the already swollen river. 15 boats participated in the tournament with  Roger Flener and Jacob Mudd taking 1st place with 9.63 lbs.

2nd RJ Anderson and Ron Anderson 9.32 lbs.,

3rd Danny Cardwell and Chris Phelps 8.69 lbs.

Big bass of the tournament was a 2.43 lb largemouth caught by Dan Elms and Larry Price. 

The next BCB event will be the annual Butler County Bassmasters Classic, an invitation only championship tournament with $1,000 being awarded to the winners.  The tournament was held at Lake Beshear in Dawson Springs  Saturday, October 21st. Tournament starts at 7:00 AM with weigh-in at 3:00 PM.
