Butler County Archery Booster Club's Community Yard Sale

The Butler County Archery Booster Club, led by Tammy Clark, organized a community yard sale fundraiser that was an enormous success.  On Saturday, June 24th, several from the tri-county area came to browse the deals they could find at the large sale.  Whether looking for clothing, collectibles, or odds and ends for crafts, it could all be found that day.

Over 90 booths were reserved for the big sale, filling up the once empty Pamida building with eager shoppers once again.  Spaces were available for rent outside and inside, most opting for the inside spots. Inside sports were $12 for the day, and outside spots were $10.  All profits from the sale of their items went to the booth renter.  Everything that was unsold was picked up by the Morgantown Mission at the end of the day.  The biggest rush of shoppers came through early in the morning and tapered off by around noon.  Individuals of all ages came to see what treasures they might find.

Raising over $1000.00 in booth rentals alone, money was also raised via concessions and shirt sales.  All money will go to the booster club to provide scholarships to graduating seniors and to fund various other projects throughout the year.

Archery boosters are happy to announce that Major Redmond will be coming back to coach next year.  All information regarding meetings, officer elections, and all events for the upcoming year can be found on their Facebook page Butler County HS and MS Archery.
