Gidcumb's returned from a Church trip Friday, and left both his the van and his vehicle at the church after his car wouldn’t start. The ignition and dash were ripped out of Gidcumb's 2001 Mercury Sable. In addition, a suitcase with dress clothes and the battery to his car were stolen. The stolen van has the Belmont General Baptist Church logo on either side of the van. The perpetrator siphoned gasoline from Gidcumb's vehicle and transferred it to the van before leaving.
