Artisans spanning many different mediums filled the Butler County Middle School gym Friday morning as the school held its inaugural spring arts fair. Melissa Glass, who works with Butler County Youth Services, coordinated the event. "I just wanted artisans and it was not hard to find at all," Glass said. "With the exception of three booths, these are all Butler County people." Glass said exposing youth to the arts at a young age is crucial. "It’s good to tap into this, especially while they are young," she said. "Everyone needs to needs to find their voice and if you are driven and have the skill, to be an artist or a musician, we want to build upon that."
