Bless Amy Deweese and Family!

Larry Taylor

On September 18, 2016, around dusk, my brother Larry Taylor was involved in a fatal accident. Unknowing to him, Amy Deweese and her family were following Larry out of Bowling Green heading toward Morgantown. They were maybe 3-5 minutes behind him. They did not know who was on the motorcycle, but they would have him in sight until he rounded a curve and for a few minutes he would be out of sight until they turned the bend and saw him again.
Larry was almost to the road to turn to him home and when he rounded the last curve Amy and family lost sight and when they rounded the curve they didn't see him. At that moment they braked for something in road, and someone exclaimed that there was a motorcycle in the ditch.
They stopped and then learned who he was. They called 911 and attempted to locate any family. Amy stayed by his side until the ambulance arrived and tried to make him comfortable. She talked to him the whole time trying to assure him that he was going to be alright. Amy said he was not conscience at any time.  But I believe he could hear her.
He did regain conscienceless after arriving at the hospital in Nashville. After four days of every attempt to help him, he succumbed to his injuries.
My fond thoughts are that Amy's  daughters wanted to visit him next day not knowing he was in Nashville.
For myself and my family, we will never forget everything you did.
I am sure he knows as I believe he does. Amy, you and your family, will always be in my heart, and Larry is watching over you as is the Lord.
