BG Hotrods' New Owners Make Several Changes

Stuart Katzoff review the expansion with Mayor Bruce Wilkerson

Butler County baseball fans who visit the Bowling Green Hotrods Baseball stadium this coming year will treated to the start of a funner experience.  At a Media Event held this past Monday were the formal introduction of the new owners, new General Manager, funner experiences coming, current and proposed upgrades, renovations and facelift of the Stadium. The new owners are Manhattan Capital Sports Acquisition, headed by Stuart Katzoff. Stuart, along with Indiana Pacers Owner Herb Simon and his father Jerry Katzoff also own the Triple-A Reno Aces in the Pacific Coast League. The Hot Rods new ownership group will assume the 15 years remaining on the 20-year lease with Bowling Green Ballpark.

Adam Nuse is the team's General Manager and Chief Operating Officer

The team will remain in the Midwest League and will continue to be affiliated with the Tampa Bay Rays. Adam Nuse is  the team's General Manager and Chief Operating Officer, filling the position that was opened when former General Manager Ryan Gates left to pursue other opportunities following the 2013 season .Nuse joins the Hot Rods after serving as the Vice President of Sales for the Corpus Christi Hooks (Double A Affiliate of the Houston Astros).
In place already is a new food vendor by the name of Professional Sports Catering. Known for their unique variety of menu options, PSC plans to revamp the food service operation with specialty food carts, new options and most importantly, all items cooked fresh in front of fans.

Renovations already in place are as the first-base entry way will sport brand new art honoring Bowling Green's connections to the car industry, as well as a new baseball graphic above the VIP, suite, and administrative offices entry. An illuminated sign will grace the walkway, which will be repaved with a baseball feel. Fans can enjoy baseball themed artwork as well as they enter on their left.
This fun new experience will be for all ages, and the renovations inside the ballpark feature a brand new kid's zone that will be situated in left field. Butler County parents can take in the game with a tremendous view, just above the bullpen, all while their children experience the new fun zone. The left field berm will feature an improved slope to offer great vantage points of the field no matter where fans are standing. As fans stroll the ballpark, they can look up and see artistic homage paid to the Hot Rods, and Bowling Green's connection to the auto industry.

As  Stuart Katzoff said it at the Media Event “ What we are doing here is all about families from all communities”.
