BCMS Band receives distinguish rating.

The Butler County Middle School Band recently attended the Kentucky Music Educators Association's Instrumental Assessment Festival at John Hardin High School. The 110 members including 13 sixth-graders, under the direction of Jordan Evans, performed Affirmation Overture and A Childhood Hymn. The band received one proficient rating and two distinguished ratings with one of those being a perfect score.
"I am so proud of the students and their hard work," said Evans.
Sixty middle school band students also participated in solo, duets, trios, and quad assessments with all receiving distinguished or proficient ratings.
The BCMS Band will be in concert April 25th and 27th.
