ARCHERY: MES repeats as state champs; NBE's Grant Jones top male archer

Morgantown Elementary finished 1^st place out of 81 schools winning the State Bullseye Championship with a score 3189. This is 2^nd year in a row that Morgantown Elementary has accomplished this and finished the regular season undefeated at 18-0. The top shooting male for MES in bullseye was Brayden Tomes with a score of 277 closely followed by Kaleb Clark 273 along with Logan Givens and Kellon Meredith tied at 271. The top shooting female for MES in bullseye was Ryleigh White with a 273 followed by Addison Henderson 265 and Kaitlyn Franzell 264.

Morgantown Elementary also finished 1^st place in the State 3D Championship shooting a 1584. The top shooting male for MES in 3D was Brayden Tomes with a 276 followed by Kellon Meredith with a 268 and Logan Givens with a 265. The top shooting female was Emily Cunningham with a 261 followed by Kaitlyn Franzell with a 260 and Ryleigh White with a 254. Winning individual awards were Brayden Tomes, Kellon Meredith, Logan Givens and Emily Cummingham. Below it a full list of the State Championship Team.

Also, North Butler Elementary's Grant Jones scored first place out of 944 boys at the state archery tournament. North Butler's team finished 10th in the state.
