Annual Pie Supper Supports Provo Rural Development

Dale Franklin explains the value of UK basketball tickets to Richie West and auctioneer, Donna Wilson

Next year will mark the 60th year of service to the community and Butler County for the Provo Rural Development Club.

Soon to celebrate 60 years of service

To make sure that can happen, the club hosted its annual pie supper Saturday night. According to club president, Tony Wilson, this is the only fund raiser designed exclusively to support the operation of the club throughout the year.

There are other fundraisers. Proceeds from the winter bingo, chili and soup event go to help the 4H club and the Rochester Fire Department. A third annual cruise-in is scheduled for October 8 at the club to support Cancer Assistance.
