Accident On Natcher

Shortly after 6:00 a.m. this morning nine people were injured in a single vehicle accident on the Natcher Parkway near mile marker 32. According to Butler County Sheriff Deputy Heath West eleven people were traveling north in a 15 passenger Ford van heading to Tyson Foods in Henderson County. The driver Pasang Tamang swerved to miss a deer, overcorrected, went off the right side of the parkway, hit an embankment and overturned, West said. The driver and all 10 passengers were wearing seatbelts.

Nine Nepalese immigrants living in Bowling Green were injured: Ram Biswa, Buddi Tamang, Man Lamgadey,  Klaw Reh,  Silvia Buduen,  Pah Day, Tasang Gole, Pasang Tamang, and Ya Kob. Passengers Bhakta Jadkami, and Bifhun Kami, were not injured.

The injured were transported to The Medical Center, Greenview Regional Hospital, and the Ohio County Hospital.

The accident shut down the northbound lane of the Natcher.  Responding were Butler County Sheriff’s Department, Butler County EMS, Rescue Squad, Morgantown Fire Department, Cromwell Fire and Rescue, and Ohio County EMS.
