Accident in Aberdeen sends one to hospital

Shortly after 12 p.m. noon today, Tuesday, March 24, a single-vehicle accident on KY 79 (Aberdeen Hill), sent a Butler County woman to the hospital. Shelia Woodcock, 58, of 458 Love Lee Road, lost control of her vehicle and left the road, hitting some trees and overturning approximately four times. According to Butler County Sheriff's Deputy Heath West, Woodcock had a dog in the vehicle that had gotten between her and the steering wheel prior to the accident.

Woodcock was transported to the Medical Center at Bowling Green by Butler County EMS. Also responding were the Butler County Rescue Squad and the Morgantown VFD. According to Deputy West, the dog has not been located.
