Sandra Louise (Binion) Amos, age 61, of Elk Rapids, Michigan, passed away on July 14, 2020. She was born on December 1, 1958 in Morgantown, Kentucky. She was a graduate of Butler County High School in 1977 and earned an RN diploma in 1990. Sandra was an accomplished nurse and dedicated over thirty years to pursuing excellence in her field and patient care. This passion fueled her to complete a BSN program at Michigan State University in 2005.

Linda S. Brown

Linda S. Brown, 61, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Louisville Norton Health Hospice Division. She was born in Morgantown, Ky. on Nov. 28, 1958 to the late Curtis W. and Meda Johnson Brown.  Linda worked in construction and was a member of the Butler Co. Community Ed Line Dancers. She loved crafting, acrylic painting, antique decorating, gardening and was fascinated by old car shows. She was the glue that kept her circle together and was loved and touched by so many.

Truman D. Jenkins

Truman D. Jenkins, 74 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Monday July 27, 2020 at his residence. Truman was born October 23, 1945 in Logan County, KY to the union of the late Marvin Lee and Carmen Howard Jenkins Richardson. He was a member of Aberdeen Missionary Baptist Church and  owner and operator of Jenkins Logging.  Truman enjoyed gardening,  loved logging and was a Master Logger. "When the Wind Blows Think of Me." Other than his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife Alice West Jenkins, one son Kevin Jenkins and two brothers Gary and Jerald Jenkins.

Odell Elmore

Odell Elmore, 88, of Louisville, Ky. passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 at his residence in Louisville, Ky. Odell was born in Butler Co., Ky. on March 25, 1932  to the late Isaac and Grethel Phelps Elmore.  He retired from Phillip Morris as a machine operator and was a Army Veteran. He liked to work on lawn mowers and piddle around the yard. Odell also loved fishing and being outdoors.   He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 52 years, Dimple Johnson Elmore; sister Della Elmore; daughter Michelle Cardwell; grandson Brian Cardwell; great- grandson Michael Cortie.

Marie P. Embry Crump

Marie P. Embry Crump, 91 of Morgantown, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at her residence surrounded by family. Marie was born February 14, 1929 in Butler County, Kentucky to the union of Clark and Mabel Johnson Porter. She was a member of Morgantown First Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Butler County Homemakers and D.A.R.. Marie retired from Kellwood but during WWII she worked as a welder in the ship yards in Evansville, Indiana. She was a U.K. basketball fan, loved to travel and enjoyed participating in 5K road races.

Rita was born November 16, 1956 in Butler County, KY to the late Forrest and Aline Johnson Phelps. She enjoyed camping, riding 4 wheelers, collecting rocks and she loved her cat Sassie.

Michael Dwight Lindsey

Michael Dwight Lindsey, age 73, of Bowling Green, KY peacefully departed this life at home surrounded by his family and close friends on Monday, July 13, 2020.  The Edmonson County native was born November 10, 1946 to the late Johnny Marshall Lindsey and Chloie Agnes Webb Lindsey.  He was married to his devoted wife and caretaker,  Eleanor Kay Skaggs Lindsey, who survives.
