Kenneth James Luyet, 55, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 16, 2022 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  He was born in Elwood, IN on July 31, 1966 to the late William Luyet and Geraldine Galbreath Biltz.  Kenneth worked for Asplundh Tree Removal Company and Perdue Farms.  Kenneth enjoyed planting flowers and gardening.  He also liked watching the news, sports and playing with his dogs.  He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Timothy Luyet and his grandparents.

Roger Lee Joly, age 72 of Aberdeen, KY passed away Thursday, February 17, 2022 at his residence. Roger was born on Sunday, December 18, 1949 in Norwich Connecticut to the late Henry and Bella Bedard Joly. He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Roger was a retired truck driver and currently worked as deputy jailer at the Butler County Jail. Roger enjoyed playing golf and loved collecting and working on guns. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by one step daughter Miranda Coleman; three brothers and one sister.

Violet Allen, age 91 of Morgantown, KY passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Violet was born Tuesday, November 25, 1930 in Butler County, KY to the late Boatley and Cora Snodgrass Coots and wife of the late Hayward Allen. She was a life long member of Mt Vernon Missionary Baptist Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher for many years and a member of the WMU. Violet and her husband Hayward was the owners and operators of Allen's Grocery for 32 years in the Dexterville community.

Raymond Renfrow, 95, of Louisville, Ky passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at the U of L Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, Louisville, Kentucky.   He was born in Clark County, Indiana on January 12, 1927 to the late Fred and Eva Rowe Renfrow.  Raymond worked construction for Brown and Williamson and Struck Construction Co. He was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 576.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings Bessie Renfrow, Fred Renfrow Jr., Martha Susan Renfrow and Ruth Veltri.

David Allen Kidd age 71 of Morgantown Ky., passed away on Thursday February 10, 2022 at the Skyline Medical Center in Nashville TN. He was born on Thursday February 16, 1950 in McCreary County Ky., to the late Rosevelt Leonard and Anna Mae Angel Kidd. Other than his parents he is preceded in death by two daughters Amy Kidd and Missy Crisp one brother Dale Kidd. David was a truck driver for many years and after his retirement he was able to enjoy fishing and making knives in which he loved to do.

James N. Amos age 81 of Morgantown Ky., passed away on Saturday February 12, 2022 at his residence in Morgantown Ky., He was born on Wednesday March 27, 1940 in the Jetson Community of Butler County Ky., to the late Estil and Eileen Keown Amos. James was a United States Army Veteran, attended Belmont General Baptist Church,  Jetson Community Church and retired from Linkbelt in Lexington Ky. after many years of service. He was a avid UK fan, loved working on his farm, porch setting, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dovie Jane Costello age 85 of Roundhill Ky., passed away on Friday February 11, 2022 at her Daughters residence in Roundhill Ky., Dovie was born on Saturday December 12, 1936 in the Jetson Community of Butler County to the late James "Jim" and Elizabeth Woosley Willis and wife of the late Thurman Costello Jr. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Dovie loved gardening, canning, quilting, taking walks, and spending time with her family and friends. Other than her parents and husband she is preceded by one son Ricky Costello and one sister Eva Costello. 

Diana Leigh Hampton, Age 57 passed away Friday, February 11, 2022 at her residence. Diana was born Saturday, March 21, 1964 in Butler County, Ky to Jimmy Hampton and Patricia "Tish" Cardwell Webb who survive. Diana loved the beach and enjoyed fishing, collecting old things and spending time with family. 

Joyce Pauline Hudnall, 82, of Browder, Kentucky went to Heaven on February 9th, 2022, at Owensboro Health.  Joyce was born in South Hill, Kentucky to Herbert and Anna Engler on December 20, 1939. Joyce was a homemaker and loved her family and dog TJ, very much. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and working puzzles. She also enjoyed being outside.

Mary Baize Wells, age 86 of Morgantown, KY passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at Morgantown Care & Rehab. Mary was born on Friday, June 14, 1935 in Butler County, KY to the late Anthony T. and Beulah M. Elms Snodgrass and wife of the late Claude N. Baize Sr. and Lawrence D. Wells. She was a member of New Beginnings Ministry,  a retired CNA and a homemaker. Mary loved canning, cooking and feeding everyone, quilting and spending time with family and friends.
