2023 Butler County Farm Bureau Meeting

Gregory Drake presented the 2023 Legacy Farm Award to Taylor and Taylor Farms.

Tuesday night, September 12, was the annual Butler County Farm Bureau Annual Membership Meeting commemorating 85 years of serving Butler County Agriculture.  After President Gregory Drake II's welcome, Vice President Woody Moore gave the invocation, and the crowd enjoyed a meal courtesy of Green River Caterers.

Kentucky State Police Requests Assistance in Locating Missing Person

Bee Spring, KY. (September 7, 2023) –The Kentucky State Police Post 3 Bowling Green is asking for the public’s assistance as part of an ongoing missing person investigation.

KSP Post 3 was contacted on June 14, 2023, regarding a missing person in Edmonson County.  The initial investigation indicated Kayla Decker, 35 years old of Bee Spring, KY, was last seen on December 18, 2022 in the Bee Spring Community. She is described as a white female, 5’6” tall, 130 lbs., with blond hair and hazel eyes.

By ringing your bells, help us celebrate Constitution Week, September 17-23. Bells Across America is an annual celebration of the signing of the United States Constitution. Participants gather to ring bells for one minute, much as the church bells and out when the United States Constitution was first signed on September 17, 1778, at 4:00 pm EDT.
