2 Fugitives arrested in Grayson Co.

New 5-Star System Overview- As of 12:01 this morning, Kentucky’s new 5-star school accountability system has gone live and is available to the public for review at www.kyschoolreportcard.com .  The new system offers parents and other stakeholders across Butler County a new way to understand how students across Butler County are progressing educationally.

Grand Jury Indictments

The Butler County Grand Jury returned indictments against 21 individuals on September 27, 2019. Charges include possession of controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, unlawful transaction with a minor, and escape. Arraignments are scheduled for November 12, 2019

Morgantown Elementary School Accountability Results

There were some changes this year to the state accountability system.  The newest incarnation uses a star system, with 1 to 5 stars signifying where a school is in relation to other schools.  Across the state, schools are coming to grips with where they are and charting a path to where they’d like to be.
