The Lady Bears traveled to Owensboro on Monday night for a date with the Panthers of Daviess County High School. The Lady Panthers came into the game with a 13-8 record, led by Sarah Martin, one of the best players in the 3rd region.

On Saturday, January 14 the Butler County Middle School Cheer squad was in competition at Park City. They placed first in the Co-Ed division and went on the win the Grand Champion trophy beating: Munfordville, Barren Middle, Glasgow Middle, Gold Star Cheer, and McLean Co.

The Butler County Bears returned to McLean County on Tuesday night to take on the McLean County High School Cougars. The game was the sixth contest played by the Bears on the McLean County floor this season.

McLean County High School played host to the opening round of the 2012 Touchstone Energy All ‘A’ Classic on Saturday. The Lady Bears and Bears of Butler County played the first two games in the tourney, taking on the teams from Edmonson County High School.
