The Barren River Chapter of the KPR (Kentucky Public Retirees) organization will be meeting on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the BRADD Office, 177 North Graham Avenue, Bowling Green, Kentucky. BRADD Office is located on the north side of Bowling Green just off Plum Springs Road.

The guest speaker for the March meeting will be Brian Towles, CMS Coordinator, Kentucky Retirement Systems, Health Insurance Division.

Any retirees of Kentucky State, County, and State Police retirement programs are invited to attend, This includes KRS state government employees, non-teaching staff at the regional state supported universities, employees of local Health Departments, regional mental health/mental retardation agencies, and all quasi-state agencies (credit unions, Kentucky Association of Counties, League of Cities, and many others). CERS includes all city and county governments, police and firefighters, non-teaching staff of local boards of education (including bus drivers, janitors, cafeteria workers, etc), circuit clerks, local library employees and other local government agency employees. SPRS includes all uniformed State Police Officers. Spouses of current KPR members are also invited to attend or join meetings.

The Barren River Chapter includes the following nine counties: Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson and Warren.

This non-profit organization's goal is to protect and improve our retirement benefits, represent and promote the interests of retirees before the General Assembly, State Retirement Board, and other agencies, and provide a lobbyist to appear on our behalf before the General Assembly, etc. (Visit our website at: Kentuckypublicretirees.org for more information.
