Deanna L. Embry is a 1991 graduate of Butler County High School. She enlisted in the U. S. Army in July of 1992 and immediately attended Basic Training at Ft. Jackson, SC.

The Butler County Senior Center held an open house and ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 16th. The center is located in the basement of the Butler County Health Department.

In accordance with the Bylaws of the Fourth District Volunteer Fire Department of Butler County, KY, the annual meeting is January 5th, 2026 6 PM CT at the Fourth District Fire Station. This meeting is to elect board members that oversee the fiscal responsibilities for the department.

DAR ladies Linda DeWeese, Lynda O'Driscoll, and Sherry Johnson joined Butler County Judge Executive Tim Flener and Butler County School Superintendent Robert Tuck in signing a proclamation for the National American Indian Heritage Month.
