Butler County Bears guard Zack Burden recently reached a scoring milestone by entering the 1,000 point club.  Burden scored his 1,000 career point on January 13 against Franklin-Simpson.  He was recognized for this achievement at the Union County game on January 20.

"Zack is a highly talented player and his contributions to the program are numerous," said B.C.H.S. Head Coach Calvin Dockery.  "He really exploded during his sophomore season at the "All A" State Tournament. From that point to now he has just continued to get better and his competitive nature is something that will carry on for years to come in this program."

Burden is a senior at Butler County High School and has been the leading scorer in the Third Region for much of the season.
