Wreck on Brownsville Rd Knocks Electric Out

A wreck on Hwy. 70 Brownsville Road on Sunday evening shut down the power from the intersection of Hwy. 79 and 70 to Hwy 185 in Butler County.  Shortly after 5:00pm a van traveling west on Hwy 70 left the road and struck a utility pole, downing both electric and phone lines, east of the Logan Hunt Road. The male driver and an infant were removed from the van and transported to the Medical Center in Bowling Green.( Names have not been released.) Warren RECC was on the scene and anticipated the electric to be off for 2 to 3 hours, as they had to replace the pole. 
Responding to accident was Butler County Sheriff Deputy Chris Reneer, Butler County EMS, Rescue Squad, State Highway Department, WarrenRECC , Fourth and Fifth District Fire Departments.
Traffic is being diverted at Logan Hunt Road and Brooklyn Road off Hwy 70.
