Nickie West and Richard Hayes are happy to announce their engagement for marriage. Nickie is the daughter of Tommy and Linda West of Morgantown, KY. Richard is the son of Frank and Glenda Hayes of Mammoth Cave, KY.

Nickie graduated from Western Kentucky University in 2010 with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. She is currently a second grade teacher at Morgantown Elementary School. Richard is the co-owner of The Hickory Cabins located in Mammoth Cave, KY.

The couple plan to wed on August 29, 2015 at Belmont Baptist Church. The ceremony will be at 3 p.m. with dessert and punch to follow.
