Water Leak Fixed

If you live in Morgantown, you were without water for a short time on Saturday morning according to Randall Gaskey, Superintendent of Morgantown Utilities. A major leak was discovered around 3:00am on the corner of Roberts and Hobson Street next to the Morgantown Water Treatment Plant.

“A six inch steel water line broke, and we had to shut the water down for about twenty to thirty minutes to complete the repair,” said Gaskey.
Water was quickly restored to customers and crews continue to work at the scene.
