Warren RECC Holiday Open House

Warren RECC hosted its annual holiday open house at the Morgantown office on Tuesday, November 18th. The event was scheduled for 3-6 pm.  However, people were lined up as early as 2:30 p.m.

Visitors received a tote, holiday craft booklet, a tee shirt, and the 2014 recipe book. The recipe book is a treasured gift by many.  The first such book was published in 1969.
“Each year, Warren RECC publishes an annual recipe book free of charge for our members. The recipe books are very popular items among our membership,” said Jenny Rich, of Warren RECC.

Rick Carroll of Warren RECC and Emma Robbins.
This year’s recipe book centerfold features a drawing by Butler County High School student Emma Robbins.  Her drawing features a whisk with a light bulb, a spatula, and a knife.

Morgantown office employees served refreshments from recipes featured in the book including: Apple Harvest Punch, Deviled Egg Pasta Salad, Chili Dip, Ritz Rolo Sandwich Cookies, and Pretzel Buttons.
Several holiday crafts were on display for Thanksgiving and Christmas decorating.  The holiday craft booklet featured materials and instructions for making several of the crafts.
The holiday open house is just one of the many events offered to Warren RECC members throughout the year.
