Troy Eugene Crousore

Troy E. Crousore, 49, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, September 15, 2014 at his residence in Morgantown, Ky.  Troy was born November 25, 1964  in Kokomo, IN  to Don and Janet Hicks Crousore, who survive.  He was employed at Corvac as manager of IT Industries.  He retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years and was a Desert Storm Veteran.  His tank crew was the first to cross the border at the start of the ground war.  He was a master gunner and an inductee of the Sergeant Morales Club.  He was also the only NCO aide to a general (promotable) and a member of the VFW.   He was also a volunteer firefighter.  He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
 
He is survived by his wife of 26 years Paula Clark Crousore of Morgantown; two sons Mark Crousore of Bowling Green and Dennis Crousore and wife Brittney Shelton of Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia; one grandson Donovin McKay Crousore of Morgantown; parents Don and Janet Crousore of Morgantown; two sisters Lori Marr and husband David  of Smiths Grove, Kathy Lewis and husband Lee of Bowling Green; one brother Glenn Crousore and wife Julie of Morgantown; four nieces and two nephews.
 
Services for Mr. Crousore will be held at Smith Funeral Home Thursday, Sept. 18 at 2 pm with Bro. Jim McDaniel officiating.  Burial will follow in the Orange Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 17 from 2:30 pm to 8 pm and Thursday from 8 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
