Thomas “Tom” Eclet Miller

Thomas “Tom” Eclet Miller, 75, of Morgantown, passed away Thursday, October 30th, 2014 at his residence. 

He was born on December 7th, 1938 in Grayson County, the son of the late Clarence and Brilla (Duke) Miller. Tom was a retired drywall hanger and attended Belmont Church.   

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Miller; their daughter, Donna Embry (Harold Dean) of Morgantown; his sister, Anetta “Bobbie” Woosley of Caneyville; 4 grandchildren, Nathan Embry of Bowling Green, Hannah Embry (James) of Caneyville, Thomas Scarbeau of Morgantown and Brenn Embry (Aaron) of Caneyville; 3 great-grandchildren, Ellie Kate Embry, Bentley Coy and Madelynn Tucker and one great-grandchild, Tucker Embry due in March. Other than his parents, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Renetta Kay Scarbeau; two brothers, Stanley “Pete” Miller and Joseph “JC” Miller and one sister, Mary Embry.

Funeral services will be Sunday, November 2nd at 2:00 at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Gary Embry will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Saturday after 1:00 pm and Sunday from 9:00 am until time of service.
