Job seekers in Butler County now have another source to help them find employment. Spartan Staffing is now servicing Morgantown and Butler County, and will make their debut on Wednesday, July 22nd with a job fair at the Butler County Public Library.
Nina Cain is the General Manager of Spartan’s local office, which is located in Hartford with another office in Owensboro. Cain says Spartan differs from other employment agencies for a number of reasons. For one, Spartan has the power of the TrueBlue, the largest staffing company in the United States.
Another difference is Spartan’s desire to place clients in long-term jobs, instead of shuffling employees to different employers every few months.
“We want to be the employer of choice that fits the client with the right person for the jobs they have available,” said Cain. She continued, “Our slogan is ‘Connecting People and Work,’ and that’s what we try to do.”
Spartan Staffing will host a job fair at the Butler County Public Library on Wednesday, July 22nd, from 11-1. The New Q 101.5FM will join Spartan at the Library, and will hold drawings for Hot Rods Baseball tickets, tickets to Beech Bend Park, and for New Q t-shirts. Spartan will also be giving away a $50 IGA gift card to one person who applies for work on Wednesday.
“We have good job openings in the area, and we know there’s a great workforce in Butler County,” said Cain. She stressed that Spartan is looking for applicants for both temporary and long-term jobs.
“If you’re looking for a job, or you need good employees, we want to help,” said Cain.
