Ruby LaVaughn (Brooks) Mitchell, 81 passed away Wednesday September 24,2014. Born in Morgantown, Ky she was a homemaker and a member of Peniel Missionary Baptist Church, and Banock Eastern Star Chapter #531

She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Mitchell, parents Jasper and Myrtle Brooks, sister Mildred Dockey and brothers Eugene, Randall, Richard and Norman Brooks.

She is survived by her brother Leon Brooks (Deronda) of Morgantown. And many nieces and nephews

Her funeral will be 3 pm CST Saturday at Chapel Union Missionary Baptist Church in Morgantown. With burial to follow.

Visitation will be Friday 2pm to 8 pm EST at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy and Saturday at the church from 10am till 3 pm CST funeral time
