Royce Dean Hunt, 67, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tn. Royce was born September 25, 1946 in Butler County to the late Veachel and Delia Hunt. He was a member of Belmont General Baptist Church, a Mason and Navy Veteran. He was a truck driver, heavy equipment operator, liked nature and being outdoors.   He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Linda Lee, brother Rodney Hunt.

He is survived by wife Natalie Jo Rogers Hunt of Morgantown; one son Kelly Joe Hunt of Morgantown, Ky; two step children Payton Tarrence and wife Shawna of Morgantown, Presley Tarrence of Scottsville, Ky.; Grandchildren Kadi Jo MacKella Hunt, River Kaden Hunt;
Sisters Janette Embry of Morgantown, Mae Dean Howard and husband Tommy of Morgantown; brothers Donald Hunt and wife Judy of Morgantown, Jerry Hunt and wife Faye of Morgantown.

Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home Wednesday, September 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Bro. Gary Embry and Bro. T.J. Howard officiating. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 3:30pm-9:00pm and Wednesday 8:00 am until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.
