Rochester Community Christmas

Friday night December 13, Rochester had their annual Community Christmas celebration at the Rochester Community Building.  Within minutes of the 6 p.m. start time, Rochester residents began filling the building in anticipation of a great evening celebrating the Christmas season.

After a great meal of hot dogs, numerous types of soups, sandwiches, drinks and desserts, everyone was treated to a special visit from jolly ole Saint Nick.
“It was easy to see the unmistakable emotion from the kids as they were placed on Santa’s knee.  Even this reporter was coaxed into sitting on Santa’s knee.”

By all accounts, those in attendance had a great time.  It was a great way to kick off the celebration of the Christmas season.  Thanks to all who came and residents of the community who provided the food.
