Redell Cardwell, 70, of  Morgantown, Ky. passed away Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green, Ky.  Redell was born March 27, 1944  in Butler County  to the late Robert Marion and Mae Holman Hatcher.  She was a retired Customer Service Representative at WRECC, a member of Big Muddy Baptist Church and Order of the Eastern Star #531.  She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister Melita White, two brothers Jimmy and Delton Hatcher, sister in law Olivia Hatcher and brother in law Keith Hunt.
 
She  is survived by her husband of 50 years, Tommy Cardwell of Morgantown; three sons Dennis Cardwell, Derek Cardwell and Darren Chad Cardwell and wife Leslie all of Morgantown; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; two sisters Carol Law and husband Willard of Bowling Green, Sandra Hunt of Morgantown and one brother Lowell Hatcher of Morgantown; one sister in law Dean Hatcher of Morgantown.
 
Funeral Service will be held at Smith Funeral Home  Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Ronnie Forrest officiating . Burial will follow in the Big Muddy  Cemetery . Visitation will be Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from  3pm-8pm and Thursday, August 14, 2014- 8am  until time of service at Smith Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Andrea's Mission or to the Big Muddy Cemetery Fund in c/o Freda McKinney.
