Does diabetes run in your family?  Are you at risk of developing diabetes?  Do you, or someone you know, struggle with diabetes control?

February is heart month.  It’s also a great time to start making those changes to live more heart-healthy.  Diabetes greatly affects your heart health - having diabetes means having a higher risk of heart attack or stroke.

Join us on Friday, February 6th for a FREE meeting on Preventing Diabetes at the Butler County Extension Service at 10 a.m.  Melissa Waldron, with the Barren River District Health Department, will be speaking on preventing diabetes through healthy eating, physical activity, etc.  She will also touch on diabetes control, and ways to keep your heart healthy.

Again, this meeting is FREE and open to the public.  Please call the Butler County Extension Service at 270-526-3767 to pre-register for the meeting.
