North Butler Elementary's Spelling Bee Winners

On January, 29th 2016 North Butler Elementary held the annual school-wide Spelling Bee sponsored by Ford Motor Company. Classroom overall winners from grades 3-5 competed in the school wide competition while Kindergarten – 2nd Grade winners were recognized at the event. 5th Grader Johnny Staples from Mr. Felty’s class came out the overall winner. 2nd place went to (3rd grader) Maddie Jones from Mrs. Parrish class followed 5th grader Shelby Parrigan from Mrs. Jennings room in 3rd. Johnny will go on to compete in the Butler County District wide Spelling Bee on February 9th at the Butler County Education Complex at 5:00 PM.
