North Butler Academic Team Advances to the Regionals

On February, 28th the NBES academic team traveled to Western Elementary in Centertown for their District Academic Meet. They placed first place overall that advanced them to the Regionals. The Regionals will be held on March21st at Longest Elementary in Muhlenberg. The NBES Academic team members are Easton Mason, Bailey West, Graci Leach, Rylan Shumway, Taylor Miller, Carter Hawkins, Lucas Johnson, McKenna Lindsey, Nathan Clark, JohnMatthew Parrish and Delaney Daugherty.

Easton Mason came in 3rd place and Carter Hawkins and Bailey West tied for 4th place in Composition. Lucas Johnson came in 2nd place in Mathematics. Carter Hawkins and Easton Mason both tied for 1st place in Science. Rylan Shumway came in 1st place and JohnMatthew Parrish came in 2nd place in Social Studies. Bailey West came in 1st place and JohnMatthew Parrish came in 3rd place in Language Arts. Delaney Daugherty came in 1st and Graci Leach came in 5th place in Arts & Humanities. All students came in 2nd place during quick recall. With the total points of 47 putting them in 1st place overall advances them to the Regionals.

We are very proud of our school and want to give a big Thank You to Mrs. Miller, Mr. Belcher and all of the other staff members that has spent their own time to support and help us.
