Nancy Carline Willis

Nancy Carline Willis, 83, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, died at 7:17 pm August 28, 2014 at The Medical Center of Bowling Green. She  was born March 27, 1931 in Richardsville, Kentucky to the late Jim and Mary Hopper Davis.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Kenneth Willis; two sisters, Syble Glass Gross and Mae Davis Hazel; two brothers, Elvis Davis and Ether Davis, and several nieces and nephews.

 Carline was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother. She was baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1940. In 1990 she was sealed to her family for time and all eternity in the Atlanta Temple.
 She is survived by her daughter,  Nancy Willis, of Bowling Green, Kentucky;  nieces and nephews, including  Jessie Morrison of Glasgow, Bessie Jordan of Ozark, Alabama, Mary Willis of Richardsville, Nancy Stiles of Brownsville, Billy Hazel and Chandler Hazel of Bowling Green, Sam Davis of Morgantown; several cousins;  and a sister-in-law, Nellodean Willis, of Riverside.
 Services will be at 1 pm on Wednesday, September 3rd at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, located at the corner of Smallhouse  Rd and Cave Mill Rd in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Visitation will be from 5 - 8 pm, Tuesday at J. C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel and from 12-1 pm at the church on Wednesday before the funeral, burial will follow in the Green River Union Cemetery.Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to your favorite charity or church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the J.C. Kirby and Son Broadway Chapel.
