Music Legend Pat Boone Sings Praises of C.B. Embry

Legendary entertainer Pat Boone, spokesman for the national non-partisan senior citizen group the 60 Plus Association announced that C.B. Embry candidate for Kentucky Senate has earned the group’s Honorary Guardian of Seniors’ Rights award.
In a statement released by 60 Plus, Boone remarked, “I’m still singing at concerts, but today I’m singing the praises of C.B. Embry.  Seniors can depend on C.B. Embry.”
60 Plus Chairman and founder Jim Martin, himself a native of Hazard, Kentucky, was on hand in Bowling Green to personally present the award to Embry.  Said Martin, “C. B. Embry is a committed public servant with a long track record of fighting for seniors and the working families of Kentucky.  C.B. Embry will protect the pocket books of senior citizens and stand as a vocal opponent of wasteful spending on all levels of government.  Washington is now borrowing over 40 cents of every dollar to pay its bills.  C.B. Embry understands that seniors have to live within their means and so should government.
“C.B. Embry is a man of integrity who will honor his word and honor the will of the people he represents.  C. B. Embry has demonstrated his commitment to making the lives of Kentucky seniors better, and in doing so has earned their trust and heartfelt support.  C. B. Embry is a tireless worker who makes decisions every day based on what’s best for our children and grandchildren.”
The Association’s Guardian Award is presented to Democrats and Republicans based on their senior friendly voting records.
