Morgantown Christmas Parade

The 2014 Morgantown-Butler County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade was a success. Saturday was a beautiful day and the parade did not disappoint. Morgantown was packed with spectators as Santa came to town.  The Morgantown Police Department and the Butler County Sheriff’s Department lead the parade through town.
Richie Bratcher served as Grand Marshal of the parade. Shirley Allen served as emcee. Floats, elected officials, clowns, antique cars and trucks, business vehicles, and scouts were just a few of the entries.
A combined Butler County High School/Middle School Band filled the air with Christmas music. Winning floats included: Church- Cornerstone Assembly of God, Non-profit- Butler County Girl Scouts Pack 546, and Business- Morgantown Care and Rehab.
Beauty queens, calendar girls, NJROTC Cadets, local churches, fire trucks, EMS, tractors, and horses made their way through town.  There was plenty of candy as well as stuffed animals for the children.
