Annual survey measures nursing home quality: Morgantown Care & Rehabilitation Center is proud to announce that it was found to be deficiency free during its recent survey by state regulators.
Morgantown Care & Rehab is a 122-bed skilled-nursing and rehabilitation center located in Morgantown. The center also offers robust quality of life (activities) and spirituality programming, along with a safe and secure environment for patients who suffer from Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
Surveys of nursing home are conducted each year by state officials who evaluate the homes in several key areas, including staffing, quality, and health inspections. Findings are then reported to the federal government, which combines ratings in each category to give the homes an overall rating.
“I could not be prouder of the team at Morgantown Care & Rehab for working so hard to make sure our residents and patients receive the high standard of care they so deserve,” said the home’s administrator, Logan Midkiff. “While this is a great accomplishment, we will continue to strive for ways to enhance care and services for our beloved residents.”
The survey results come on the heels of Morgantown Care & Rehab’s recently-completed $1 million renovation. The renovation included the creation of 24 private suites, along with new TVs, furniture and other environmental updates to resident rooms.
