Morgantown Bank & Trust Easter Egg Hunt

The annual Morgantown Bank & Trust Easter Egg Hunt was held at the Charles Black City Park on Saturday, March 21, 2015. At 1pm, Darrell McKee of Morgantown Bank & Trust welcomed the guests and introduced them to the new policies adopted for the hunt this year.

Darrell McKee Instead of drawing winners in each age group, the prize tickets were strategically placed in a series of golden eggs and evenly distributed about the hunting grounds for each age group. Those who retrieved the golden eggs were awarded the caliber of prize stipulated by the ticket contained therein.

The age groups (0-3, 4-5, 6-7, and 8-10) were excited by the prospect of retrieving more eggs than their peers as well as gathering the most golden eggs. At the specified times, each age group was given a countdown before entering the hunting arena through a single floodgate of orange tape. Once the tape was lowered, the children were permitted to disperse about the area and retrieve the eggs.

After the eggs were retrieved for a particular age group, the golden egg recipients were called to exchange their tickets for the appropriate prizes before the following age group began their hunt.
