MES Lighthouse Team Prepares for 100th Day of School

The Morgantown Elementary School Student Lighthouse members traveled to Bowling Green on January 29, 2016 in search of 100 prizes for the 100th day of school celebration. Students were on a mission to select items for both boys and girls to be given away Monday afternoon, the 100th day of school.

The students quickly divided into two groups to conquer Wal-Mart. Three shopping carts and hundreds of smiles later, the members had completed the mission with such grace and represented Morgantown Elementary School greatly.

Members of the 2015-2016 Student Lighthouse Team include: Gracie Wright, Kypton McKinney, Caitlyn Martin, Logan Todd, Delaney Newcomb, Lucas Givens, Case Hooten, Reece Filback, Destiny Gipe, Daniel Woosley, Alyssa Thacker, and Cheani Schroeder.
