MCRC to host Hall of Fame induction ceremony program honors residents, staff and community members

Morgantown Care and Rehab Center will host a Hall of Fame Café celebration next month to honor residents at the local nursing home.
The purpose of the Hall of Fame program is to recognize the outstanding accomplishments and experiences of the center’s residents. Employees, volunteers and community members are also honored for their contributions to the home and society as a whole.
This year’s honorees for Morgantown Care and Rehab Center are:
•    Ernest Board, Resident (In Memoriam)
•    James Hunter, Resident
•    Joyce Annis, Former Resident
•    Ina Johnson, Stakeholder
•    Helen Phelps, Stakeholder
•    Carol Johnson, Stakeholder
•    Garry McKinney, Community Leader
Morgantown Care and Rehab Center is one of 126 locations operated by Signature HealthCARE, a Louisville, Ky.-based operator of long-term care, rehabilitation and health care services. Launched in 2004, the Hall of Fame event is hosted annually by each Signature home at different times throughout the year. In recent years, Signature has taken a different approach by having each center host its Hall of Fame ceremony on the same day, creating a synchronized, company-wide event.
“Our residents have given so much to their hometowns and our nation, and these contributions deserve to be celebrated,” said Signature President and CEO Joe Steier. “The Hall of Fame Café induction ceremonies are a small way for us to say ‘thank you.’ ”
Morgantown Care and Rehab Center’s Hall of Fame celebration will be held October 15, 2015, at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 202 South Main Street Morgantown, KY  42261, at 6:00 pm. For more information about the event, contact Brandy Holland or Jamie Howard at 270-526-3368.
