Lloyd Edward Swift, 58, of Morgantown, Ky. passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Lloyd was born October 14, 1956 in Grayson Co., Ky. to the late Amos Edward Swift Jr. and Norma Jean Swift, who survives. He was a backhoe operator, a former employee of Scotty's Contracting and Johnson's Welding. As a child he attended Christian Home Church of Christ. He enjoyed woodworking and horseshows where he won several trophies for horseback riding and enjoyed working in any type of construction. He was preceded in death by his father, Amos Edward Swift Jr. and his sister, Lisa Swift.

Mr. Swift is survived by his wife, Nina Woosley Swift of Morgantown; mother, Norma Jean Swift of Morgantown; two sisters, Linda Walden and husband Ken of Harned, Ky. and Rita Lowry and husband Keith of Fulton, Ky.; two aunts, Florene Johnson of Caneyville and Madine Smith of Leitchfield and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside Service will be held at Lumbustown Cemetery on Saturday, December 20 at 11 a.m. Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
