Linda Leathem Hayes, 71, of Rochester died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014, at the Heartford House. She was born in Louisville, was retired from Nick T. Arnold Jewelers and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Clydia Leathem; and a sister, Virginia Huff.

Survivors inlcude her companion of 18 years, Therman DeArmond of Quality; a daughter, Charita Baker (Jimmy) Inman of Dunmore; a son, Terrance Lee (Marlene) Baker of Hartford; grandchildren Chief Joseph Winn of Norfolk, Virginia, Joshua Winn of Belton, Jordan Martin of Greenville and Krystal Baker of Hartford; five great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Leathem of Fordsville; a niece, Paula Cecil; and a great-nephew, Ryan Cecil.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Geary Funeral Home, Fordsville with burial in Fordsville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
