K.S.P. investigating accident that claimed life of Butler County man

The Kentucky State Police Post in Elizabethtown is still investigating a commercial vehicle accident that happened at just after 3:00 p.m. Friday, and claimed the life of a Butler County man.

According to the preliminary report, a loaded dump truck owned by Bryant Farms, and being operated by 38-year-old Jamie Woosley of Morgantown, was on Kentucky Highway 84 just inside Hardin County, when the truck failed to slow during a decent down a hill.

The dump truck slammed into an earthen embankment, and overturned. Woosley, the driver, was partially ejected and killed in the crash.

Detectives from KSP Post 4 in Elizabethtown are still trying to determine the exact cause of the crash.
