Johnny Ray Smith, 42, of Horse Branch, passed away, Monday, July 21, 2014 in Horse Branch. He was born April 17, 1972 in Madisonville to Paul Smith and Debbie Hall. He was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Baizetown and he worked in maintenance.

Survivors include his wife, Lillie Smith of Morgantown, two sons, Nathan (Kristalyn) Smith of Fordsville and Johnathan Smith of Baizetown, one daughter, Erica (Ryan) Tipton of Hartford, two step-sons, A.J. Huff of Morgantown and Jared Huff of Morgantown, his parents, Paul and Brenda Smith of Baizetown and Debbie Hall of Nashville, TN, one brother, Jimmy Smith of Baizetown, one sister, Jamey (Adam) Gabbard of Morgantown and two grandchildren, Bryleigh Tipton and Brennan Banser.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 25, 2014 at William L. Danks Funeral Home in Beaver Dam with Rev. Gerald Geary and Rev. Mike Daugherty officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Horse Branch. Visitation will be from 2-8 P.M. Thursday and 9 A.M. until the time of service Friday at the funeral home.
