Joe Hairl Phelps, 65, of Bowling Green, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. Joe was born May 9, 1950 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late James Hairl and Inez Clark Phelps. He was a retired mechanic and was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Amanda Jo Phelps.
Joe Hairl Phelps is survived by one son, Joe Phelps Jr. (wife Glennis) of Woodburn, KY.; two granddaughters - Kadence Phelps of Woodburn and Amanda Jo Phelps of Fordsville, KY.; one grandson - Bonham Phelps of Fordsville; one brother - Dairl Phelps of Morgantown; two sisters - Carolyn Lindsey of Morgantown and Daisy Baxter of Bowling Green; and several nieces and nephews.
